SIGN UP FOR VIRTUAL OFFICE VISITS HERE

Join us virtually on this important day to raise awareness about homelessness, the need for more affordable housing, and to advocate for policy solutions!

This year's events will include a virtual rally* and virtual office visits with State legislators and their staff and is being organized by the Nevada Homeless Alliance, the Nevada Housing Coalition, and Faith in Action NV.

*A separate registration link will be circulated for the virtual rally taking place on Monday, April 5th.

We are happy to schedule a virtual Zoom meeting for you with your legislators. You may be joined by advocates from the same district who are scheduled to attend this meeting with you. You will be notified in advance of who is scheduled to join you and we will provide helpful knowledge about your legislator's committee assignments and the policy opportunities that they should be made aware of. We will ask for both your organization's address (if applicable) and your home address in order to identify who your legislators are. Due to many homeless/social service organizations being co-located in the same districts, it is helpful for us to identify your home legislator to broaden our reach of constituent-specific meetings on this day. Your home address will be kept strictly confidential and will not be shared or used for other purposes.

In addition to the Virtual Homelessness and Housing Awareness Day Rally that will kick us off on April 5th, there will be a webinar scheduled in advance of this day (Webinar Date TBD) to provide you with helpful tools and information to prepare you for a successful virtual office visit.

Attention Service Organizations: Please invite and encourage those you serve to participate in this important day. Please circulate this sign-up link. A limited number of stipends are available for people who have been directly impact by homelessness, housing unaffordability, and inequitable housing access (discrimination based on source of income, criminal background, etc).
